so a 10-inch bar, with 4 LEDs and 2 laser chips is the same price as ONE XL with 4 laser chips, but with the XL you get less light output?
If yall told me that it was the cost of 2 LED racers in XL format, no complaints. But 3 times the cost? I'll stick with my "old" LEDS. Glad I wasnt waiting with empty spots on my truck for these. yikes.
Any night pictures?
XL laser: 60 watts and only 2000 lumen with 4 laser chips according to web site. (only 2000 hour life expectancy)
XL Racer: 40 watts and 4300 lumen with 4 high intensity LEDs.
Be nice if BD could post some night shots of these two lights compared.
This light has performance that is overkill for 90% of our customers and is really designed for racing applications or specialty spotlight uses.
Oh yes...not sure when they will ship....because they are such a spot beam I don't expect much issues with light on the hood...Get some good night shots (of how far they shine, not the lights mounted to the truck ) when you have them installed. I'm interested to know if they shine off the hood as bad as some of the regular XL's that I've seen pictures of. I hope not as these would solve my long range light problems.
I’m waiting for the first FRF member to have a 2nd or later mortgage with Baja Designs as the lien holder.
You can never have too many lumens in the Starbucks drive thru. Just sayin’
