Just a heads up, I have the HD Deavers +2 had them on before getting traction bars,
the HDs are to stiff for street driving, IMHO but if you're going to tow then get them otherwise get the SD.
If something happens to my rear springs I will be going back to SDs.
Thank you. Contemplated the HD springs but feared them being too stiff. If I tow anything it will be small. There's so many options on upgrades and I don't like doing things twice. Thank god for FRF and some good solid advice from people like you.

Yeah, the HD are a little stiffer but still a 1000 times better than stock.
If you're going from stock to HD you shouldn't feel a difference in stiffness.
Where as I went from SD to HD and then custom HD.
I broke the stock and a set of Nationals then went to Deavers SD broke those then HD, broke one leaf in the pack.
Then Deavers offered a custom leaf pack, they didn't brake!
But it still did not stop all the wheel hop, traction bars are the way to go.

This is one reason I went with the Rogue Racing Traction bars.

Does Deaver stand behind the broken springs? Seems like they shouldn't break in the middle of the stack like that. I'll be buying deavers anyway, not crazy about the other 2 options. I really wish I could get the Rogue bars but they don't return emails and their phone seems to be disconnected. I'm sure I'll be happy with the SVC bars but they don't look nearly as nice as Rogue's.

Lmao at 1000 hp drive shaft.

Yes they did, and it was suggested that I may have received a batch that were not tempered and annealed correctly.
Keep in mind this was 6 years ago when the Stage II Whipple kits started rolling out.
Also I believe I'm the only one that had this happen.

If I do change the springs I'll probably go with the Icons, I kind of like that they are military wrapped at both ends, also I would need to change my Camburg shackles to RPGs, maybe.
While the Icons do slightly touch the Camburg shackles it's only at full droop.

I only have 36,000 miles on my truck and I've been through 4 sets of rotors and pads and 3 sets of shocks.
The past two and a half years I didn't even put 1000 miles on the truck.
I'm at a pretty high power level and the lovely pothole streets of NYC don't help.

Wheel hop is really hard on parts: driveshafts, u-joints, differentials, springs, shocks, axle shafts, pretty much everything behind the transfer case, fixing that first should be the priority. Traction bars are a great start. Make sure your rear shocks are in good shape too.

I have a 13 with Roush SC and have bad wheel hop when taking off WOT. I've read that deavers will correct some of the problem. I ran across Rogue Racing traction bars but can't seem to be able to reach Rogue. Does anyone know if they are still in business? I plan to eventually get deavers anyway, so maybe I should start there. Thoughts or feedback on personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.

My Deavers made my axle hop go away completely. It is an issue with stock!

How do the Icon leaf springs compare to the Deavers? Looking for a bit more plush on-road experience, and my off-roading is mostly mid speed/mild off-roading for the most part.
