Is this what you guys call a Torque Arm? This is the Evil Offroad 3-link. Seems like by the time you spend $1700 on Deavers, $1200 on "traction bars", another $1200-1500 on a bump stop setup, the $250 on the KHC shock mount brackets, then longer or bigger shocks, you could have spent a little more and gone to a 3-link with 20+" of usable, adjustable suspension travel, with a single 3.0 or 3.5 coilover and a swaybar.

Yeah I'll give the leaf springs some time to settle, then I'll look to see if I want to do a drop shackle. In hindsight I should've just waited on the shackle until I saw where the truck would sit, but wanted to do it all at the same time.

They seem to know what they are doing and they were easy to work with. Too bad you didn't go with the air bags, could've done a sweet set up on some 24" chrome spinners!
What did those springs end up costing? I'm looking for about the same setup on my Gen Juan

I believe it was around $1230 for the springs. This doesn’t include new u-bolts. A big saving for me was being able to drive 1.5 hours to pick them up in a place I was going to visit anyway for another reason.

Thanks for all of the feedback, I ended up finding a place about 1.5 hours west in Grand Junction, Colorado that makes leaf springs. They are called Alcan Springs. I had them make me some +3” springs with an additional 200lb load capacity (removing the 2” block for a 1” lift). This saved me about $500 over ordering Deavers, which was nice. Springs were a bit challenging to swap out in the garage by myself, but it’s done.

I also grabbed a set of SVC stock-length shackles. In hindsight I probably could‘ve done a drop shackle, but I didn’t know where the ride height would end up. My factory leaf springs were sagging.

I installed the RPG bump stop kit at the same time as I expect I’ll need it once I start doing runs.

Overall my impression is similar to all the others who have swapped out the crap stock springs. Truck is night and day difference. The scary feeling that the truck was stepping out over highway bumps is gone and the it handles as it should have front the beginning. I have a slight rake now which is fine. I do also have Eibach springs in the front.

Here’s some pictures, I forgot to take one with the axle on jack stands and everything removed.

Just so I understand. You used the RPG bump stop relocation kit and are simply using the axel tube as the pad? I’ve ordered the RPG kit and the SDHQ pads, trying to determine if I use both, will it be too close .

I'm using both and they visually do look a LOT closer (about 2-inch gap) but so far no issues. I've been to the dunes and several off-road events since installing and haven't felt anything weird back there or any loud noises. I haven't done any major jumps either though.

Thanks a lot. Which spring pack do you have, if I may ask? I’m hoping to do Hydralics bumps later on. My drainfield is failing at the moment and waiting to hear if new DF is gonna be 12K or 25K, so tying to keep the budget in check for that unplanned expense, the joys of home ownership.

Was going to go with Deavers, but ended up getting a really good deal on ICON's for about $850. Have the extra leaf installed, set to "Option-3" I believe.
