I agree the stock back up lights suck. I plan to get a rear ADD bumper have them put some Rigid lights in it.

Used these for backup lights, adjust at slight upward angle for city-its that forget there high beams are on, relay wired to reverse circuit and to switch #4 for that special touch. :naughty:

Electrical wiring is not my strong suit. What are the steps to wire them into both the reverse circuit and the #4 switch?

IDK, my bulb burnt out on one light, so I took them out and got new ones. They are the ones that have the short white wire connected to the back. then I went to autozone and got some higher watt ice blue ones so the light is really white.

I hear ya Ice - I always get a bad buzz when playing with electrical.
Ironman posted a video a while ago - showing the wires and upfitter switch fuses.
I'm just not sure why you can't solder the new light wires to the pigtail wires Ford provides under the hood, instead of having to go through the glove box...?

Upfitter wiring diagram

This is the diagram for the up fitter switches and revers lights,:hmm: ford's wiring team have some sense of humor, put the up-fitter wires in the worst place they could find and color change from sw to glove to eng, they could have put a plug on each.
