Back to back dog crates in the rear seat anyone have a recommendation

Crates are safer. There are two dog sometimes they squabble . We can pack other luggage on top of the crates. They don’t scratch the interior. We can leave in with the windows cracked and go shopping, They can’t try to jump out the window and eat some one. Dobermans are really high drive and energy . They ride great, six hours , in a crate.

I used Pcv pipe to make a frame, then put plywood on the top. My dogs beds go on that. I made the frame one piece, it goes right in with the rear seats folded up. I can then put cargo underneath.

My guys are little so this may not work for you.

My guys are only 20 and 30 pounds. I usually just put their beds in there, but their small crates will fit as well. I did this so they could look out the windows while we drive. Otherwise they would crawl into our laps.

Those are the ones I have been looking at I think the female would fit fine but her dad is a little larger

My 106 lb female German Shepherd just chills in the back with the seats up. I use CanvasBacks to make fur cleanup quick.

The seats come out easily on a SCAB and I bet a SCREW is the same. IIRC, there is just two different sizes required. The space between the lower pockets in the door panel is ~ 60" with a little more space between them and the door handles. You might be hard pressed to get two 30" deep crates in the back.

I just had to lift the seat bottoms to see all the bolts.
There are 8 bolts into the floor that hold the seats to the truck. Two rows of 4 in the corners of the seat frames.
