If anyone is on the fence, I jsut had the standard duty National springs installed and not only did it make the truck feel way better, get rid of wheel hop but it leveled the truck (i'm on middle perch).

So even the standard National springs will raise the back?
Or you are saying that when you put it at middle perch it's level now?
I'm sorry I'm confussed.

Standard Nationals will lower the back 1.25-1.50 inches. So that along with the middle perch will make your Raptor level.

The HD Nationals will raise the rear. If you are on the top perch and have HD Nationals you will be level as well.

I don't know of anyone running them on THIS forum, but a few have them on the other forum. The general expression I got from the users were the traction bars stopped wheel hop, but because they hang low-ish, they were getting hit/hung up on stuff. For someone who doesn't off road much, this may not be a big deal.

I second whisler, the standard national springs are the bomb. Ended my wheel hop issues and really improve the overall feel of the rear suspension. From stock, they lowered the rear of my truck about an inch once they settled in.

Thanks Whisler151, so with bottom perch and standard Nationals the Raptor will still have a rake in it, front lower, back a little higher, right

I'm old school I love that look.

Thanks, pirate air for your input

I havent personally seen one with that set up, but yes, it should. I would call RPG to see if they have any pics of trucks with Nationals and bottom perch.

If you get the springs from RPG (mine are HD and the ride is awesome period and handles great) mine are the +2 and I am on the top perch with .6 higher in the rear than the front---almost level.
