Thanks all. And thank you Noah!!! Undecided on my next system but I will say that Noah is honest, knowledgable and educates well. I wish he was around the corner. LOL. As Noah knows we are not looking for competition builds here, just a good sounding system. Certainly most anything will sound better then stock but I guess we will see. I have a lot going on this week and next and not sure how fast I can revisit this. I'm tempted to have the current shop NOT reinstall the oem speakers and leave it open for the next round. I'll see. Hoping to have system removed Thursday. Excited to get truck back from 4wheelparts with all the mods. Pictures look good that they sent. Wheels arrived today, went with fuel hostage, toyo R/T, and amongst all the other mods I mentioned, decided to do a full bedrug. I was a bit shocked he said its a 3 hour install with the factory spray on bedliner and the tailgate with step. He's charging me 2 hours labor which I thougt was high but he has also taken great care of me on everything else.

It sounds like you're doing the right thing by getting a refund on everything and starting from scratch. I would be careful about having the JL guy do the instal because it kind of sounds like he'd be doing it in his driveway and not a shop and possibly no warranty. Hopefully you get this taken care of and sounding great that way I can copy your format :)

I have a bunch of Arc Audio speakers, amps, cross over, and sub that I took out of my Z06 that I'm trying to decide if I should just sell or try and fit in the Raptor.

An update folks: the old system was removed and refunded. The top of the flow through center console was scratched this time and despite my saying I would buy a new one, they attempted to paint it. They did do a 1/2 decent job but color off just s tad. Heading to ford now to pick up replacement and new audio shop will install instead of current one. Truck is at new shop now getting new system. Noah is aware I stayed local mostly for time constraints. Once again, the man is awesome. I found a shop who proposed a very similar system to Noah and Noah has continued to help guide me despite not using him. When the opportunity exists, Noah will get some work from me and certainly any referrals I can send his way.

The new system will be:

Arc amp 1100.5
Mosconi 6to8 DSP
JL cleansweep
Focal 165KR fronts
Focal 165AS rears
2 audiomobile 10" subs
Custom bass box
Even more hushmat

I decided against the BAM purely from a money standpoint. The local shop called last night and said the prior shop puts "tons" of hushmat in the doors but left crucial areas uncovered. He said they went overboard which was good so didn't need too much. 1 roll I believe. We heard the sounds on tr display boards and are very excited and confident this will be an amazing system. It's expandable as well of course. I'm real excited to see the sun box. He said he'd surprise us. I expected and paid for s rectangle box but he said he doesn't do plain boxes. No lights which is fine. I told him don't go I overboard and he said he wouldn't. He is gonna try to crest s slit in bottom of box to tuck the rubber mat into so it looks like the bix is laying over it but I can still remove mat for cleaning. Total cost with added hushmat- $4350. A tad less than prior system(s).

For those of you who strongly cautioned me on Recon lighting- you were 100% right. Here's whete I'm at with that: headlights actually look, fit and function great. The rear twilight is a little too close to twikgate and left one isn't firting tight, but looks great. No chrome. New set ordered and will replace. If not, will put oem back until we find another. Spider snd anzo both have chrome surrounding lights. Not really liking it. Rear raptor emblem was scratched out of box. Shop scratched tailgate when removing old one. Minor but they will take tailgate
to a high end shop we both know and they will blow in the small scratch. Ordered new emblem and will mess with the double sided tape. That really was only issueif not, oem goes back on (new one on standby). Rear 3rd brake light looks fine. Side market SVT in Amber is fine! The lighted door sills. OMG. They couldn't be a bigger *************. Actually the anodized brushed black aluminum is rather nice. The lights only lit up on each side, left and right and didn't flow through. The wire DOES Stick out from side of sill from factory, per another users post in lighting section. They mount to oem plastic will and the plastic bends when the self tappers are screwed in. It also messed up the cars computer and the sync display never shut off even with engine nor did some lights come on when door open. They were yanked and new sill ordered from ford. The rigids in front look awesome. Needless to say this was a costly experience.

Wheels and tires look great. Noticed rubbing when making sharp turns in lot. Took back to shop same day and they did a super job in cutting and making inside of wheel well look stock. Quite good actually. Ironically, I e side is closer to the tire than the other. Not after cutting but before. Is this a ford thing?

I will try and posts some pics shortly.
