Looking for "common sense" in anything I do will take you down a rabbit hole from which you, nor I, will ever emerge.

Since 2014 I've bought and sold 6 new Porsches, a 2017 Raptor, a 2018 Platinum, now the 2019 Raptor, and a few trailers and atvs in between.

I truly and humbly admit it's a personality flaw at least and fool's moves at best.

Whenever I struggle to justify the reasoning behind a purchase I really want that doesn't make a ton of sense, I fall back on the following two points.

1 - I'm enjoying the process.
2 - I'm do my part to keep the economy going.

Hey @MDJAK wasn't it you that traded the ‘17 Raptor because the seat was too short in length and just uncomfortable to drive?

Enjoy that new truck, fresh again. And a new color too. If you have the power to stay in a newer truck or on to something different then go for it.

You've got a very good memory. Yes, that was in fact the case. However, I took tape measure to seat bottom and, quite suprisingly, the leather seat in the new 2020 was almost half inch longer than the Recaro, exactly the opposite of when I measured the Recaro when it first came out against the 2018 leather. I measured it twice to be sure I was not bonkers. The Recaro measured 21", the leather 21-1/2. it felt comfortable. I think the Recaro may have a tad more padding below the thighs and knee joint but it felt fine.

Now I have a separate question. I looked at their website and it was not listed under CPO used cars, just used cars.

I specifically asked the salesman and he said it's covered by the full manufacturer's warranty. I just emailed the business manager and said if that's so, it must be written on the contract or I will not take it.

Does anyone know if you buy a used vehicle from Ford with 1200 miles whether it automatically is covered by the original Manufacturer's warranty?

Fortunately I work hard and love to play hard and a thousand here and there, as I suspect is the case with most here, doesn't cause me to eat a burger should I deign a steak instead.

Life is short, and with the BS going on now, that's never been more true. I live it with gusto. My wife says I'm the boy with the toys. I've never grown up and never will. I am who I am, for better or worse.
Well said... Love it....

You mentioned this in a thread many months back about the seat. It stuck in my head and I remember it shortly after getting my truck and reading about it. As the seat bottom touches my upper calves and I was like he’s complaining of a short seat? He must be a big guy and I’m not. But I wonder if they lengthened the seat bottoms on the 19-20’s? Either way it seems longer than many seats I have sat on.

If you can’t get the rest of the 3/36 and 5/60, I wouldn’t buy that truck unless they included an extended Ford warranty. I’m guessing it has to be assumable by the next owner, especially being sold by a dealer. Was this a demo truck? Can’t imagine who would buy and turn it back in. But then again there’s all kinds out there. Look at you lol

The manufacture warranty starts with the first retail date, so check when the truck was retailed and you will have warranty from that point and not when you buy it used unless if was never registered with the manufacture that it was sold then you are starting from day 1 when you buy it

I don’t know you, don’t need to. I’m assuming your rent/mortgage, utilities, major bills are all paid. My guess is like many people w/ ability to score a vehicle like this you have $$ saved up & 401k/Ira etc & generally well off.

Everyone’s got their vice. There are Guys who will judge for swapping in & out of rides for “loss” w/o even realizing that, at the end of the day we all drive on the same
Roads w/ the same speed limit- at its core a car is a transport machine. Whatever vehicle gets you from a to b @ the combo of lowest price, cheapest maintenance, best reliability is the winner. Anything costing more & doing more
Is a preference/luxury at best.

If splurging on new-to-you vehicles is your thing, have at it. I know soooo many guys willing to judge but equally as quick to **** away their own $$$ “recklessly” on stuff like hunting/fishing gear, clothes, shoes, motorcycles, farm equipment, booze, sports, drugs, gambling etc. anything & everything & still provide for their family, pay their bills, pay their taxes etc. he who lives in a glass house should refrain from throwin bricks

same type of guy who poo poos swapping vehicles like an ADD Floyd mayweather also same kinda guy who puts his investment $$$ in ***** ass shit like high fee ETF/mutual funds or maybe pays a fiduciary to buy gold & .5% yield bonds instead “catching the falling knife” & quadrupling down in the stock market like a ******* alpha savage.

Do you bro ;-)

I stopped at my local dealer yesterday and they had a blue 802a package listed at 72k with $10,000 in dealer options! Total price 82k. The dealer option was extra cash in the dealers pocket! It was your option if you wanted to pay the insane price I guess. Lol. Crazy what they are asking here on Long Island NY.
