Ok GordoJay, you're the FIRST to describe that benefit; the Raptor sideways hop cured by Deavers?! I've got a stock sprung Gen 1 and know my springs are old like the OP, and I've done that Raptor hop and been real concerned if I was turning hard and on the throttle the truck could snap oversteer on pavement, could it? I'm sure it could swap ends on dirt like that. I've had lots of trucks and none have hopped like that so I'd really like to fix that.

It's really the springs? Anyone else cure their Raptor sideways hop with Deavers? I was so wondering if it was my worn out shocks, BFG A/T KO's, or what???
Can confirm, went down to baja with a stock gen 2 had a good time. Went down again with deavers, Eibachs, svc bump stop and had an amazing time. The hop was gone and I could keep up with everyone this time.

I had the sideways hop, and it scared me a handful of times. I replaced and upgraded all 4 shocks with King 3.0's and the hop was completely gone. When I removed my Fox shocks I could see they were leaking and needed to be rebuilt or replaced so I decided to upgrade. That was my problem and could very well be your problem.

Great news Bry, and thanks to you and RaptorIce. Although I'd like to put some +3 deaver HD's on, right now I'm going to have to settle for rebuilding a set of 3.0 Icons I just picked up used. The rears are adjustable triple bypass and I'm sure that'll make a huge difference out back, I've got no control...

I'm curious to find out what my problem is lately. About 7-8k miles ago and by coincidence after having the truck tuned by Goose, it feels squirly(not tire spinning)/loose in the back when getting on it on the highway. Never noticed this before tuning or even when running a JB4. But I know Goosetuned packs more punch and is most likely exposing a possible issue. Does this sound like springs or possibly shocks? Truck has 60k now and has not seen nothing more than some lighter offroad. I long leveled the truck with Eibachs up front and she still sit's dead level.
