Does your Whipple Stage 1 change the transmission or is it still the factory transmission tune?
I have tried it for daily use, but switched back to the regular mode due to the strong engine breaking. If I could eliminate the engine breaking, I would probably use tow mode exclusively for daily driving.
Much different vehicle...different purpose, that being said while it was jointly developed w/ GM I feel like GM has had the greater “tranny building cred” than ford in recent history (not really saying much about either tho hence the JV) -& part of me wonders if GM didn’t hold back a few R&D hardware/software tweaks they learned along the way from previous 6/8 speed trannies....I need to try it. We have a suburban with the 10 speed and it shifts smooth al the time. Its night and day different.
