I don't see what the point in making these people cry even more. Just thinking they are already driving around in a beer can with wheels and an electric motor. Isn't that enough punishment.

I prefer parking away in the back anyway, easier to get in and out and less chance of some ******* denting your door or fender. Plus a little walking never hurts.

I've never done this, what I did do once was punk a coworker by parking in his EV spot (with charger) but the funny part to me was the 3 foot extension cord I had coming out of my grill that had nothing on the other end. We all got a laugh and I ,moved the Raptor, at lunchtime :)

Exactly why should we be against Tesla's and electric vehicles?

I'm not against any EVs, will probably own one in a few years. What I do object to about them in my area is two fold...
1.) Why are the dedicated EV parking spots right up front with the handi-cappers? put them in the back since they'll be sitting there for hours in some cases, or at least the middle. I do not like seeing preferential treatment of a protected class who choose that class.
2.) In my area and at work these charging stations are free. I object to my city or employer subsidizing their fuel cost. I do not like seeing preferential treatment of a protected class who choose that class.

I don’t get it. Why all the hate towards folks that make different choices in transportation? Everyone has different needs etc.

I drive a Ford C Max to commute in and drive a Raptor on the weekends. Keeps the miles/depreciation/wear and tear of my Raptor. Works Great for me.

Enjoy Life!

Your fleet is and usage is similar to mine. Got a Ford Escape EB 2.0 that I use during the week for work. Shockingly enough I actually enjoy driving it too.

I am a 100% disabled veteran with handicapped plates so it doesn’t personally affect me. But I agree they shouldn’t get preferential parking. I tell myself the EV spots are closer to the building because that is where the electricity is. It would cost more to run conduit further and cut up more concrete. Then I notice “compact only” spaces are also always closer to the building

There is a new(ish) strip mall in town and the Tesla spots aren’t anywhere near the building, so there is some balance out there.

I would never park in a charging station spot, just like I try to not use one of the (limited) pumps at a gas station that have diesel. You shouldn’t “punish” EV drivers or diesel drivers because of where building developers put their “fuel”.

Unnecessary at best and shameful at worst. If you're messing with your buddies it's one thing, but to strangers? How petty do you have to be. If EVs bother you that much I'd submit that you have a pretty privileged life and should find some real issues to occupy your time.

Also an (apparently) grown man saying "triggering snowflakes"? Time to grow up.

Oh man, I was loving the first part, but then you added the last?

I drove through town for a week with my tailgate COVERED in (real) blood just to trigger city-people.
