I ended up ordering a 2011 on Friday. Went to the dealership yesturday to give them a deposit. It was perfect timing on my part. The Regional Rep was in the dealership on Friday morning to advise them they still had 1 Raptor allocation left for 2011 with only a few days left for Ford to accept. It worked out perfect for them and myself and they gave me an incredible deal.

The only new items for 2012 is Red a forward camera and new wheels, neither are an issue for me and I hate the pics I have seen of the 2012 new wheels.

So, hopefully in 6-8 weeks..I'll be posting some pics!! :peace:

So what color did you order and were you able to get a nav in it?
Hmm maybe I should go talk to my local dealer and see if they have any allocations left for a raptor. :peace:

I'm in the same boat. I placed an order for a 2011 from a large Ford dealer on 7/27/11. After speaking directly with Ford, the dealership GM said he is very confident that my 2011 SCREW will be delivered sometime in late September. I gave him a deposit and now I'm biding my time.

I ordered a white SCREW with the Raptor Plus package (trailer brake controller and backup camera) for $500 over invoice.

My primary motivation for a 2011 is my fear that interest rates are going up. I'd like to take ownership ASAP to lock in a low rate.

Blue Flame aka Big Blue. :peace: You should definately work your local dealers. I sent blanket emails to every dealership in a 40 mile radius. I did not order with Nav. In this economy, someone will bite!

Ford has accepted my order and they gave me a copy of the oder info.

I went with a Blue SCAB, Moonroof, Luxury pkg and tailgate step. I was able to get a GREAT deal, based on the timing of if they didnt use the allocation, they would have lost it, so they had nothing to loose. They will still get the 3% Ford holdback. My deal: Dealer invoice + $0! :waytogo:

I feel great about the price and cant wait to get my new beast!!!

Your also right, rates are very low now and should not go up anytime soon. As soon as you get a VIN#, you can lock in a rate.
