Antenna broke off

Today my antenna broke off and i need a new base. Can i just buy the new base or need to re wire?
is this the right part?

page not found, some fords antenna wire go all the way to the back of the radio.

Pop the hood and you can see where and how the base connects. I think there is a connector at the base. Maybe a good time to swap for a short antenna.

you think screw extractor tool might work to remove that broken bolt?
I was ******** on one of my short antenna and the bolt broke off.

Dunno. We've always just replaced the base.

I think the wire plugs into the base, so you can just replace the base.

Again, on the older fords the wire went to the back of the radio, not sure on the newer ones.

should be the base plus a short length of cable. there should be a connection at the passenger footwell area for the cable. you will need to run the cable and gromet through the body. best to pull the render liner off. you will have easy access

My Ford Dealer said it is all one piece all the way to the radio. My base mount broke from going thruogh the drive through Car Wash . My plan is to just JB weld it. I now have a really nice short rubber antenna on it now.
