Android Infotainment Upgrade - Which is best?

I contacted Autotec to see if their Ford F150 Android 13 would include the additional features found on the Raptor....like forward camera, etc. They said it will emulate the SYNC that was installed by Ford. So, everything on the Raptor will be available. Can anyone verify?

Yes, can confirm. It all works.

That's good to hear. Is Autotec worth the extra money over just buying it on Amazon? It seems to be one of those mass produced, China units.

They are exactly the same units. Autotech is a North American company (Canada) and has customer service if there are issues. The Amazon/Temu/Alibaba companies do not.

My opinion is buy direct from Autotec. Their customer service is bad ass! During install had questions and answered with lots of detail within 24 hours. Had some issues recently and the unit is out of warranty and they worked with me via e-mail on steps to get it resolved. Issue was related to unit not being updated to newest software that conflicted with my phone. Overall for the little you save I would say it’s not worth it due to their customer service and tech support.

I bought from Workshop12, 1v1 video if you need it and can call with questions and whatnot easily. Lot of install instructions and videos and were great.

These are all packaged from China so no different, these guys really just test it and make sure the harness and extras are in there like pry tools.

They have the sync model so you keep all oem functions, aka trailer assist etc. I’ve had zero issues and an easy install.

Edit: it doesn’t emulate sync you move sync over and connect it, it just simulates the screen console display.
