I originally had a Flowmaster 40, and really liked it. It was a notch too loud. But there was significant resonance inside. It didn't bother me, but is kept hearing good things about the Borla so I got that and removed the resonator. Let me tell you, the resonator works. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have removed it. But I like it anyway. It sounds angry.

Which Borla did you use - Pro XS or XR-1? Any vids/sound clips with the Borl and resonator deleted?
