Amber DRL instead of HID possible?

In Canada we have to have DRL on our cars and I have retrofitted headlights which means my projectors are on all the time. Is there a way to have my parking lights on as DRL instead but also being able to keep the switch auto? Meaning parking lights will always be on and projectors will turn on automatically when its dark out?

Couldn't you run a "jumper" wire from your ambers to an Aux switch?

Leave switch on then when you start up they're on. This will allow you to leave headlamp switch on.

I'm sure it's not that simple but it'll start people thinking that way...

I was planning on doing that but I want to figure out a way to have my projectors off while having my ambers and led on during the day. I wondering if there is a way to do that utilizing the relay harness?

I'm in the same boat... What I'm trying to do is when I cross the border have them turned off. Then do the up fitter mod to have all my ambers on all the time ad drl. Seems to be the easiest fix.
