Am I just being too particular?

Hey guys! After 10 long months I finally received my ‘22 Rapid Red 37 pp. it was a custom order and is just the way I want it! There were some hiccups, to be sure, but ultimately I’m pretty happy with the truck.

I have noticed that the leather in the Gen 3’s can be best described as “loose fitting” in a lot of places, and that’s not a big deal, but on delivery, I already have a permanent crease in the driver’s seat that’s not too great to sit on. 100 miles on the odometer, basically just driving it back from the stealership.

Should I make a deal out of this, or am I being too nit-picky on a $80,000+ truck that I waited 10 months for?

It was also missing the 37 pp hood graphics, and allegedly took a rock to the front on transport that took a piece out of the paint and cracked the headlight assembly (already noted and covered).

Only you can make the decision on buy it or not. The dealer will make it right on the transport damage and leather. Those are small fixes.

Agreed, its really hard to pick a bad color with the Raptors.

My 23 front seats do the same. Dealer is going to try and pull the covers and make them tighter. Bothers the heck out of me.

Thanks for the input guys. Yeah…I definitely don’t think I’m alone on the loose leather, hence the “am I being too particular.” I’m gonna watch it, it may tighten up as it warms up. Totally agree with Nex, these are small things and it will be covered under warranty. Time to start enjoying and stop worrying!! It’s been almost a year of waiting!!

I noticed this on my seat the other day. not a huge deal but not ideal. Not sure I will do anything about it

Take the truck and have the few small issues fixed by your dealer. That is a beautiful truck and we don't see many Ruby Red 37's. Enjoy her! Get the fixes detailed in writing before leaving the dealer.
