Lol you're misunderstanding my comment, that line is good for ford. As for what he would or wouldn't put in his bed, that is subjective, I've seen people put ranch trucks through much harsher work. All that aside, accidents happen, things slip off of bedsides, people drop things when loading heavy items, secured equipment breaks lose, and all of these things have the possibility of being much harsher than rocks being placed delicately into the bed of a truck as seen in this video.

I think @CrownOffroad should replicate his incident with his chase rack when he picks up his Gen 2. That'll give us first hand knowledge of how it compares Gen 1 vs Gen 2.

Can still make it out of aluminum just choose a thicker gauge and the problem will be solved.
