I was just wondering on the quality of alpha 1's products. All of them. Suspension, bumpers, trans coolers, whatever.

I see they have a ton of products and I never see them in the mix of being compared to the big names. What do you think?

That's outlaw's stuff. It's typically got more testing and real world use than others.
Good stuff.

I can vouche for their bed rack. Held up for 3 legit runs, one move across the state, and constant abuse of the Palm Springs weather(daily 110* heat)

I've heard they make good stuff but it's pretty high prices that's why you don't see a lot of guys running their stuff

Tie rods are sitting in my garage. Look beefy and would love to have installed them. If they had sent the right size bolts to attach to the steering rack they would be in.

Prices are pretty much in line with everyone else on the market. Top notch quality. Alpha1/Outlaw parts well tested as ntm said. I have 3500 offroad miles on their upper control arms, and bump stop kit.

I would argue they are one of the big names...in fact their shop is probably 3 to 4 times bigger than many of the other shops out there. You just don't see them mentioned much these days since they aren't very active on the forum...they were much more active 2-3 years ago.

Here's an article on their shop: http://www.speedhunters.com/2014/02...ckskeeping-cool-csf/#chapter-up-and-out-there

As said above, the Alpha 1 Raptor part product line is Outlaws brand of goodies. I have one of their rear bumpers, it is beefy and strong as who knows. Super quality. I plan on getting their spindle gussets, UCAs, and tie rods. I think the prices are fair if not a little cheaper then most. I'd almost say they don't charger the Raptor tax. Their prices are on their sites, compare them, i have. But the goods, work and service/people are top notch.

I'm heading up there this weekend to pick up a bed rack and steel braided lines along with some other odds and ends.

I believe they put their parts through a lot of real world testing. Originally, Raptor Expeditions was ran by Outlaw, but since RE re-launched as a club they seem to be keeping the brands separate.
