I considered a used one but after trolling on the forums before buying I realized how hard some of these trucks get tested. I know that's what they are built to do but I'd rather break it in myself and know what's broken and how it got that way. Carfax and Autocheck are not the best gauge for our trucks. It's nice to know there is no accident history but we all know that you can seriously damage these rigs without being involved in an accident.

Hey guys thanks for advice. I tried to get a new one from my dealer and the lowest I could get them to go was like 63 before tax tags title. I'm really picky and want a silver one there is nothing wrong with it. I am going to get a extended warranty on it. I think I'm just going to get this one. As they are becoming very rare in used market.

Yeah sounds like they are marking em $5k up over MSRP. Get a Ford ESP warranty not some third party one. Good luck!

I was just going to get carmax warranty which i have had on my last 3 cars. My last one a HD F150 supercharged they actually replaced the motor under carmax warranty at my ford dealer. Was just wondering what the advantages to the FORD ESP is? I also was trying to get a quote online with the VIN but for some reason it was coming up?? Do you know around about figure they go for?

I am in the process of getting a 2012 SCREW Silver Raptor from carmax....yes i know some people love them some people hate them!! But i have purchased 4 vehicles from there and very happy. I was wondering if im getting a decent deal 2012 with 20196 miles for 48998 of course before taxes and what not. I tried to get my local dealer to budge when the new ones were out but they werent. They wanted 60+. Forgot to mention fully loaded with navi front/rear cameras everything

Carmax in Lawerence, KS has a 2013 red screw with 10,000 and change on it for the same price 48,998. Has method double standards and appears to be on mid perch. It has street tires on it? Might be worth checking into if they still have it. they will ship it to you for a fee. McMullen Ford in Council Bluffs, IA has a 2014 tux black screw fully loaded for msrp (56,910). Tried to get 500 over invoice and they wouldn't do it. Talk to Tom Bell if your interested 1 (402) 917-6547 is his cell and his office number is 1 (712) 366-0531.

I'd say the price is high, since I paid only another ~$500 for a new 2014 SCREW w/ 801a.

All the dealers in northern VA aren't worth messing with; all of them want stupid money for these trucks. I saved thousands flying out of state, and driving it back.

It may be too late to get one for invoice or even MSRP, but when the 2015'***** the lot soon these dealers that are holding on for over MSRP may decide to drop prices. Also, if early next year, Ford decides to announce a 2016 Raptor, then the dealers will be really dropping prices then.

I'd keep shopping...

I hear ya....I cant seem to find any dealers at all with brand new ones and the ones that are brand new are going for 3k minimum over MSRP. I am going to get the Ford ESP warranty on this. Im pretty sure they arent going to have anymore in the new market when the announce the 16s are coming out. Thanks for the advice i think im just going to bite the bullet on this one. I think i would only save maybe 2k at most on anything else.

I saw that red one it is nice but i dont want red : / unfortunately. Thanks for looking out though. This silver one is the best one i have found with low miles silver front and rear camera loaded with bed liner and everything. Its no longer searchable as i am getting it transferred but will post the link when it does come back up.
