That’s why I line-xed both front and rear. I was afraid of rust lol

Smart that you did but you shouldn’t have to. Their are plenty of companies that have bumpers whose finish is fine. For the price of ADD’s products I would think theirs should too.

Oh believe me I know. For the price anybody charges for aftermarket bumpers for these trucks they should last forever against rust. I did it just to give myself a piece of mind

Yikes - was about the pull the trigger on one. Perhaps some quality control issues creeping in as they try and get ahead of their backlog?

I will be contacting them with the pictures on Monday my front bumper isn’t rusting as bad as the rear. Just the rivets...

ADD at least they are consistent with not standing behind their product. STAY AWAY FROM ADD. They lie cheat and steal every chance they get. They have never understood it's not what you sell, it's what happens after you sell a product that matters the most. They stand behind it all right, way behind it. So far behind it they can't see it.

I was about to get ADD too but having second thoughts after seeing this. What they or any other manufacturer should do instead of painting the metal is a salt bath nitriding. It may cost a little more but if they do it in batches it wouldn't be much difference. I for one would be willing to pay the difference for the quality and piece of mind. When a company does that I will know they are more serious about quality.

I have ADD bumpers on my 2010 Gen 1 and have had zero issues as they are powder coated. I do have some minor chips from offroad and the rear from a concrete pillar. The bumpers are built to be strong. Chipping is cosmetic wear and tear. I have used Duplicolor spray bed liner and a household stick sponge to touch up areas. At some point, I will pull the bumpers and have them powder coated again. My chrome moly front was built by the owner of ADD and had some shipping damage to the coating when it arrived. They paid for me to have it re-powder coated locally which amounted to $85-100 bucks if memory serves.

I just had an issue with a stress fracture on a Fuel Trophy Truck wheel and ADD went to bat for me with the mfg (wheel is over 2 years old) and sent me a brand new wheel with only having to pay the shipping. I will be sending the old wheel back to Fuel for them to check their QC.

At the end of the day and as one of their first customers with these trucks, I find them to be one of the best in the business with customer support.

Both bumpers were done w/ linex from day one and I have absolutey no issues. Imo, linex looks much better and holds up way better than paint or powdercoating. They are 2 years old and look brand new. Yes, ADD products are not cheap but imo they are solid and have the best fit and look on a Raptor. Probably why Shelby is using them as well. I must say though the flat paint that are on the Shelby Raptors does not look
