Thanks Ryan. You got to admit it though that here on FRF this build thread is getting a ton more attention then on the other forum.

Now that's what I like to see . I can't wait to see the stance with some tires on it.

I don't wanna derail Scotty's thread, but (question) I thought the shocks limited the travel on the front of the Raptor. It appears the stock shocks are re-used, and mounted at the same points (geometry wise). I see where the lift comes from but not the extra travel in the front. Can you give us more detail please! Thanks.

Thats a good question. The only thing I can think is that they have a little more travel in them thats not used in the stock configuration.Ryan any truth to that ?

Keep in mind that due to suspesion geometry 2" of additional wheel travel does not mean the shock is compressing or extending an additional 2". 2" at the wheel is probably closer to a 1/2" at the shock.

Look at the top of the spindle that is where the 3" comes from in the front and the Deavers do it in the rear. With that you will get another 2" of travel front and rear.

Well if everyone can see where the 3"'s is coming from explain it to me.

In stock form the factory shock is neither fully compressed or fully extended. There is room to play. If you go to the extreme it would be well advised to add limit straps to prevent the shocks from over extending. Bump stops take care of the compression end of things.
