If your going to access a pistol, then time could be everything. In this case the latch would be worth it.

After spending 70k, spending another 17 bucks (well it was gifted lol) didn’t seem like much. Anyway my fingers are a little thick lol

once you know where the little pin is...it is super easy....no need to spend any money.....i can get my back seat on the drivers side down in about 10 seconds.

So, I just discovered that. I had already placed my order for the latch kit, though.

Once I figured out where the pin was, and that it was MUCH easier if I pulled up at an angle, toward the rear, I can unlatch it pretty quickly. I’d probably be just as happy having a knob on the end of that pin as the pull strap, but the part wasn’t that expensive.

There’s not a lot of room back there, but there’s certainly enough for a carbine... I mean pistol.

I think I’ll leave the strap flipped down behind the seat, where it’s not so readily visible, but it’ll still be pretty quick to get to.

Plenty of room for what I needed it for...to ditch the gawd awe full factory stereo electronics and what they called a sub.

Where did you ground your amp? I’m getting some static through my speakers with the zen

4 gauge to the battery...they recommend that in their instructions. I am noise free.

I got the cheap version from Amazon and so far pretty happy with it.
