I noticed this today right after starting up and accelerating on my 2012 Crew. I heard a clunk which seemed to come from the rear. Is there a TSB on this and should I take it in to the dealer?

Where is the best definition of this issue?

I have what I would call more of a "chirping" sound when slowing to a stop and then when taking off again.

I also have what I would call more of a clunk (inconsistently) that I've always associated with the transmission shifting gears.

2010 6.2L 30300+ miles.

I am just going to take mine to the dealer. 2-3 shift, nose from driveshaft, usually when cold. 9k on the odometer.

Clunk Fix

Had them re grease the driveshaft yoke and that fixed the problem for a little bit, the sound came back. They eventually replaced my driveshaft and now the sound has been gone, going on 10,000 miles after the old one was replaced.

Same here.

So they're telling me that the service bulliten shifted to 2011's now only. They're trying to attribute the issue to my added travel numbers. Wtf.... Replace the driveshaft now!!

I have s 2010 6.2 built in April 2010 and has 44k on it. Mine has been clunking for a little while now and I have this sticker on mine.

Mine clunks on little bumps, potholes, etc.
I guess I'll try my luck with Ford first, then grease it myself if they blow me off.

I decided to pull the shaft and lube the driveshaft slip yoke myself. The splines were drier than a bone. I lubed it up with a high quality lubricant and no more clunk for now.
