It sucks to hear you guys had such a hard time with this but don't necessarily blame "Ford". The dealer is run and staffed by regular people like you and me and it's THEM who are making things hard on you. Trust me, Ford wants your concern to be taken care of and for you to be happy, you'd be amazed what a bad customer service survey will do.

Wish you Guys were near ST Louis or Poteau, OK

My Dealers KNOW what a Raptor is ......... lol
AND they also KNOW PROPER Customer Service!!

PS not all dealers are clueless and full of shit.
When and IF you are ready for your next Truck or Shelby GT500, just give me a call, and I will order you one and make buying experience simple and painless.

thanks randy

WTF Randy? I thought you told Riverside Autoplex to shove it? I even sent them a flaming letter for the way they treated you. And you're back with them? What gives?:Sumo:

Thanks to YOU and a few other guys Here and Over @ The Diesel garage,

I left Riverside and Sytarted @ Broadway Truck Center in Downtown St Louis, MO. They are Ok, but thet don't have the car line. So NO Shelby's or any other Ford cars.

Riverside realized how much their BS cost them in $$ signs with me leaving, and they also saw how much my Customers backed me ..... LOL

So they asked me to come back NSA (no strings attached) I said NO!
They begged and I told them I would send them a few deals a month, when it worked for me.

This way I have 2 dealers to get/order Raptors through.

Thanks for your support!!

OK, understood. I'm glad it was on your terms.

I just suddenly felt abandoned when I saw your Poteau post above.:mad3:

So I'm looking through my paperwork after the latest dealer told me he couldn't find my maintenance program on file. As if the hassle of trying to get the clunk wasn't bad enough, I find that what I thought was a Ford premium maintenance plan under the ESP program is in fact a maintenance plan exclusive to my original dealer's network of Ford dealerships....They own dozens around the country but, it ain't the Ford maintenance plan I thought I was buying when looking at their superduper electronic document and signature system. I can't believe I was dumb enough not to double check this the night I bought the truck! The ESP contract is there but, when I try to get info on the Ford Maintenance Program through the Ford owner's website, it says I'm already covered and need to talk with my dealer for details.

For what it's worth, you don't need any fancy ESP or maintenance plan to have the clunk, or anything else fixed, while you're still under warranty. If you're under factory warranty still, then things get fixed at no cost or worry to you.

I get that...Of course, no one is willing to simply order the part even with the clunk issue plainly stated in the truck's maintenance history. Yesterday's adventures, the pinnacle of which was having a service tech tell me he's never heard of an F-150 Raptor, have left me not feeling good at all about Ford's local dealers. Nearly all that aren't just lazy it seems are theives or liars. The closest I got to an honest shop was the last dealer, Helfman Ford, where the guy helping me out yesterday discovered the problem with the maintenance issue. He still wanted to help me get the clunk fixed ASAP but, I wanted to get home and get to the bottom of the issue with the maintenance contract so I wouldn't have to pay for my 15,000 mile service out of pocket.

Just went by my dealer. Scheduled a few days to get this taken care of. Apparently there is also an issue with the transmission when coming to a stock. That clunk can be taken care of with a reprogramming. So I am having both taken care of.

Ding **** the clunk is gone

Brought truck in for new TSB drive shaft, its like driving a different truck thumbs up to Ford, :peace:

Now for the next annoying noises , dose any one have the small bird in there front end suspension that chirps on small bumps , also as anyone re installed new high performance bushings in the rear leafs to tighten up the rattle, if so what type and brand used.

I understand that ford"s bean counters may not always make the best choice when it comes to these OEM parts, just wondering if there is something out there that's better suited and tighter.

Rear leafs check out the deaver leafs, much better for the raptor.

As for the bird chirp, get under there and dig out the bird! He's probably stuck!
