This one took a strange turn Truck Wolf, wouldn't it be more productive to write Ford letters about your dissatisfactions instead of lashing out at members honestly trying to help others out on an internet forum?

A good point. I haven't yet contacted Ford directly, instead I've been in close contact with the service manager at the dealer I bought my truck from. Please show me where I have been "lashing out" at other forum members. I've only called people out after they have made negative remarks about me and my posts/concerns.

SOCOMech: Your tone isn't one of a good ol' guy wanting to help other Raptor owners. There's is an underlying skepticism towards anyone with a complaint about this truck that bugs me. I didn't get to where I am in life (retired, btw) by backing down from people like you. I've got complaints and I'm gonna air them on this forum because that's part of what forums are about. Sorry for disagreeing with your position that all is fine and dandy in Ford Land, I'm not seeing it that way.

SocoMech's initial post on this thread was nothing but dismissive and condescending. Go back and read it if you don't believe me. His juvenile responses to my honest concerns are likewise very lame. Now he's got some of his "Ford Tech" buddies posting similarly ******* responses.

I'm not here to troll or stir up shit. I'm a new Ford owner who's concerned with the problems my truck is having. The responses I've seen here are disheartening to say the least, and don't reflect well on this forum.

If you find this forum offensive - then you definately shouldnt visit the champagne room or the site supporting members room. That would certainly make you run away forever.

But from todays news, it appears a solution to our issues is being presented by Ford - so the bickering about the clunk may soon become a thing of the past.

(refering to comments you have made in other threads) Your a controller type and I understand your assertiveness, deal with your type all the time. I am not saying this to get off on the wrong foot with you so I hope you understand.

I work for FoMoCo and yes, I "fly the flag high" I am proud to work for an American company that is excelling at a time when it is much needed. All company's have shortcomings at some point or another and FoMoCo is no exception. It is hard as a proud employee of Ford to hear someone like you be so condescening and bash Ford so badly at times. I have left this topic alone for a long time and may regret posting this, but at times some things (like you implied on another thread) need to be said.
