So i'd wait about 2 weeks and give your local dealer a shout, and they should be able to take care of things for you.

I'd give the Ford tech a chance and see what happens. And by the way, dealerships are like forums, everyone there "knows" somebody up the ladder......but sometimes, that guy isn't really 100% in the know either.

Will this have to do with the new part number being seen on the driveshaft? The BC rather than BB suffix?

I sure hope so. I gave my contact at the dealer the new part number the other day. It took him a good bit of time to confirm that the new driveshaft is available and that they can get it. So... my truck is going in late next week to be fitted with that driveshaft (BL3V-4602-BC).

Can anyone confirm that the above part number has the new nickel plated slip yoke?
