The simple fact is that there are people out there like me with a 6.2 liter who will not buy the v6 raptor. It sounds like the dealers say a pissed off bumble bee. The throaty v8 is what a raptor is meant to have, now if you don’t take your truck off-road I’m sure a v6 can do the job but the raptor has always meant to have a v8 of course there is also something that was more special about SvT than ford performance anyway.

I would take a 5 liter fx4 coyote lifted truck before I would a v6 raptor

I actually agree with you and wish it was an option. But it likely wont be, so it doesnt look like a Raptor is in your future. But if you can wait 4 years, you may like the new RAM if it has a v8

Time to pull your head out of the sand. Face it, the 3.5 Eco has better hp/tq performance specs than the 6.2 did. Sound has nothing to do with its ability to do its job off-road.

I had my 2012 Raptor for 5 years and traded it my 2018 Raptor. Performance, comfort and fit/finish are WAY better.

If you are so hung up on sound, turn up your radio :ROFLJest::ROFLJest::ROFLJest:
