Any update with these installed? I'd love to see them!

Here's a few pics of mine installed - almost the same exact look:

These are pics of my truck and my buddy's truck. Mine has the halo ring and the two LED strips, his has the two LED strips and the Raptor Retrofit sticker:

Here's a close up pic of his - minus the halo ring:

WOW, do I feel stupid now!! I didn't read that last post closely enough. That Storm Trooper picture reposted by infinitereality IS my buddy's headlight!!

Can someone please help me with HID cutoff specs? Let's say I'm 20 feet from a wall - how high should my lights hit the wall?

Often I run just my amber headlight LEDs, plus my 4 fogs and the 20" amber light in my ADD bumper. It's plenty of light.

Running my HIDs seems to **** people off. They think I have my hi-beams on.

Thanks!

Pull up to a wall and drop them about an inch or two. See if you still get those reactions. I can't give specific numbers but that's how I would do it. Just keep dropping them until your not getting flashed anymore.

OK I've been setting my truck 25 ft away from a wall on level ground and the distance from the floor
to the center of your lights should equal the distance from the floor to the lower step of the cut-off line.
Does that make sense?

Its going to vary from truck to truck depending on if the front is leveled, tire size, even if you have weight in the bed.

Best bet is just to pull up to a wall 20+ feet away and lower one side 2" then bring the other side down to match it. Repeat if needed, basically the cutoff should not be shining into the back window of cars and hitting just below the side mirrors.

Go measure a couple common cars trunk heights, then from 20 ft away make sure its aimed so the top of the cutoff is at that height.
