5.13 would be nutzzzz. Seen a Raptor on youtube running the dunes with paddle tires and 5.13 gears it scooted good.
I sent Yukon an email regarding the 11' up dilemma. Hopefully the come up with something for us.
I ran across a thread on another forum with a fellow wanting 4.56 gears on his '12 FX4, he was saying that he talked with Yukon Gears and they were working on it. Who knows

It would be nice if bushwacker made cutout flares for the raptor so we can run 42s

You can just cut the stock fenders and get rid of the flare, round it up and you got a perfect fender , and you can run hugeee tires... Just fyi

Is no one making gear sets for the 2012 yet??? Surely someone would see this as a marketable mod to invest in...

Nope.. I have looked into this and currently there are two options...

Swapping the rear axle to a dana 80 or using a rear axle from a 2010-11 Raptor.

I'm in the process of asking why ALL the ring and pinion manufactures hasn't got off their rear ends :buttkick: . Hopefully my ranting will get something accomplished. If anyone else would like to write gear set manufactures and "ask them to get on it" theres strength in numbers (all of us). "Squeaky wheels always get grease." Yukon or Motive would be good ones to contact. I'm awaiting responses.

Richmond and precision gave me the same canned responses at the time..

"The rear end of the 2012 SVT Raptor is specific to that model, and due to limited production of these vehicles. There is not enough demand to design a master kit for this model."

West Coast Differsionals offer a conversion kit. The kit they offer has different bearings to accommodate the older gearset into the late Raptor (9.75”). I think I'm going to go with it, if it turns out no one will manufacture new ring & pinions.

Well shows how much Richmond and Precision gave a rats ass I guess  . But they obviously aren't in the market for making money, because the 2011, 2012, & 2013 all have the same rear end. Hopefully, 3 yrs without offering gear sets they'll have changed their stance.

The West Coast Differsionals conversion kit is pretty reasonable. It's $950 with everything needed.
