oh ok. I was thinking about adding a body lift, i mean i never touch the desert... i live in ontario. im pretty sure my raptor wont be anywhere near cali/nevada ever haha.
But after doing some research it's kinda irrelevant, since the body lift doesnt affect ground clearence, the differentials and axles will still be same height am i right? the only thing it does it allow bigger tires.

but for the ammount of money, might as well just build a tube buggy for rock crawling.

u dont really gain ground clearance with the body lift but like u said it allows for bigger tires which gives u more ground clearance....

yeah but with a 3 inch body lift on top perch i mean how big can you go??? 37's are just fine with top perch and some trimming of the wheel well. with the body lift u cant go 40's? or more?

still cant fo to big i would imagine becasue when the suspension articulates or lands and fully compresses its gonna angle the wheels inward and possibly hit the suspension, i would think.

Yeah. I guess some people don't read. And don't you think I know what rims I ordered and what offset they are. I mean I have the emails and the receipt: in front of me. I even have a pic of the box they came in that say +12.

Hey ******** I didn't post a comment I linked the whole thread, both posts were there. Just because it's marked that doesn't mean it is. I just lent a buddy of mine my 40 light bar because Rigid sent him a 30" bar marked 40" on the receipt and he needed one for tomorrow because he has a photo shoot. Shit happens in shipping. Idc what your receipt says, those aren't +12 they are -12. They are outside the flares regardless of what they are marked. +12 are inside the flares by about 12mm

Probably not much further. I've got better things to do than mess with this much longer. Might seem like a **** here but just rubbed me the wrong way he started being an ******* when we asked him why body lift and gave him other suggestions. I mean shit we didn't even jump on him for it just SUGGESTED he do something different.

So the difference between - and + 12mm is less 1" and u guys really think u can tell from a pic. Could it be that I'm running 13.50 tires instead of 12.50?? And I've asked 2 distributors if ballistic was out of business and both said that were definitely not.

Well off that cliff I guess, and Maxx it's ok. We all make mistakes in life.
No need to beat up on the poor guy, my take is he was looking for some support in his decision. It is a good looking Raptor but most of us are against a body lift for different reasons.
I will give him rep points for hanging in there through the shat storm, hey he might make it here on FRF.
OP keep us posted on how this turns out, don't let em scare ya off.
