At least you found it and can now address it if it continues. That's a win. I'd not let something small like that ruin your confidence. There will be other things that go wrong to accomplish that.
I wouldn't say confidence ruined, more or less just another thing to add to the list.

Just drove mine home and noticed my cooling fan being very loud. But what's WORSE, is that when I PRESSED BACK in the seat, the fan would "grind" to a stop! I was able to use my hand to push down on the upper portion of the seat-back and stop the fan just by pushing.

This isn't normal, nor good.

I wish we'd find what it the cause of this issue, rather than just taking it to a dealer and have it sit around...waiting to be torn apart to "discover" what the issue is.

Wanted to close this issue out by saying the dealer had to order a new fan bracket assembly, as well as the foam pad for the back of the seat.

It was a quick repair, and the seat didn't have to be removed although they did say the seat back AND bottom had to be unzipped and removed.
