so a whirlwind trip from denver to georgia. tirina and i left saturday morning and drove east. @Meat2022 set me up with a new dog after my dog got hit by a semi truck almost 2 years ago. molly is an english mastiff and he also has a male english mastiff so we decided to try for a liter of puppies so we each could have a new puppy and i have family members who want a new dog. well he lives in georgia, so we had a drive ahead of us. we got to fayetteville arkansas, had dinner with a family member and spent the night in a seedy motel called the town and country inn. (due to her dog being overy aggresive to other dogs, we didnt stay with family.) it was the only one we found that late at night that allowed pets. um..... safety tip #1.... dont shower there the sheets were washed, however they still smelled like smoke from being in a smoking room at some point. it ranks #2 on our list of worst places to stay. motel 6 would be trump tower compared to this place. the floor was coming up, the paint was peeling, the bathroom door was falling off its hingess, the secondary lock on the door didnt work, etc... but we survived, so off we went sunday morning to head further southeast and finally got to georgia (its really alabama) and met up with meat2022 where he set us up in his house for the night. .....safety tip #2...... if they are too friendly, expect something. the next morning we used his truck (we took our gas sipper subaru this time around) to head to douglas georgia to pick up our new trailer and bring it back to his house. our plan was to drop off our dog and get trailer to his house and come back in a couple weeks to get said trailer, new cabinets for our house courtesy of @CigarPundit who also lives in georgia, and bring our (hopefully) pregnant dog back. safetly tip #3.... is for the women here.... his mastiff is twice the size of molly. our dog is 120lbs. his dog is 250lbs. so if any women have had a fat dude on top of them, they will understand. so we werent able to breed our dog. eff me. safety tip #4..... dont sleep in an axe murderes house alone.... he set us up in his house, granted its not a big house, so he stayed with his accomplice girlfriends house while we stayed in his house alone. we made the mistake of falling asleep. we heard noises outside and tried to flee, but our car wouldnt start and we dropped the key trying to put it in the ignition, so we hid in a shed, but unfortunately thats where he was hiding. next thing we know we woke up decapitated and buried in the backwoods of georgia. so here we are dead and headless buried somewhere. we had to get our heads on straight. luckily we escaped, grabbed our dog, and fled the scene. hopped in our little subaru forester and said "go go turbo go" and magically we were driving away. we fled back to fayetteville arkansas as fast as we could tuesday and got there in the evening. had dinner with family again, but we knew @Meat2022 was hot on our trail, so we kept driving to topeka kansas where we stayed for the night. ....safety tip #5..... check the locks on the door. luckily this was a motel 6... er the trump tower.... we were safe. the lock on the door actually worked. we woke up this morning to threatening texts from @Meat2022 wanting to know where we were because he was coming to finish the job he started. he wanted to eat us. apparently these georgian axe murders like to decapitate us and age us buried in the dirt, but we didnt let him know where we were. we again fled the motel 6 in topeka and headed west until we got to north denver where we finally got home safe. our other dog is a vicious, protective, belgian malin____ something..... a police type dog..... safety tip #6.... have a guard dog that will notify you of axe murders that have followed you from georgia. now we feel safe back at home because our dog will bark and attack if he comes at night. we can finally sleep peacefully.
it was a fast trip. @Meat2022 is an awesome guy. never met him in person until now, where he not only let us stay in his house, but also let us use his truck. when i used to fly out to do mobile installs and tuning for frf members, this was the type of hospitality i received. its great to know that i can still count on members here to be such hopsitable, friendly people. @Meat2022 even though you killed us and cut off our heads, you are a great person.
