Hi everyone, my 2013 has been making a really specific noise for a few months and I've had no luck in finding where it's coming from. It's 2 or 3 metallic clinks right before coming to a complete stop, and then again when I start moving again at 5-10 mph. The noise sounds like hitting 2 metal tent stakes together, not a grinding or a banging and I only hear it in that specific circumstance. It's coming from the front, but it's indistinguishable left or right. Load/throttle don't make a noticeable difference, and it happens in a straight line. I can't feel it through the steering wheel or anywhere else, it's only a noise.
The shocks have been rebuilt for 5k miles, and the noise happened before and after that. I've replaced the swaybar end links, it has brand new brakes, and the slip yoke is well greased.
Articulation off road has no effect, and once I'm moving and it's done clicking I don't hear it again until I'm nearly at a stop. Endless crawling under the truck and wiggling things and trying to pin point it hasn't yielded anything.
Totally at a loss with this one - any thoughts?
