I felt the same way and I just got a new 2022 Raptor 37pp. You can still find quite a few. They also don't have auto start/stop.

Ah ok, I thought the Auto S/S and button was removed for the 2023 +

Any way... looking into an eLocker at some point.

I have a 24 Raptor R on order and am a bit disappointed to learn the torsen up front is gone. Not enough to cancel my order though. I also have a 24 F350 Tremor ordered, so I have the front Torsen covered with that.

They make a quick detach / attach setup so you can swap the torsen back and forth if needed.

Now that many many people have '23's, is this still a legitimate concern? Has someone been out offroading and missed it yet?

I’ve noticed zero difference in traction with my 23 vs my 20 with torsen, but I haven’t done any rock crawling with the 23. The only thing I notice is way less torque steer in 4A.

Got back from Raptor Assault recently and no one could explain why Ford removed the Torsen or if the current set up is better. Granted RA is not part of Ford but is a partner to provide a racing school for customers that purchase specific Ford vehicles. I also havent been doing any extreme off roading so have to wait to hear from those that do!

The Raptors do have a very good 1 Pedal Drive system and Baja mode rocks! The trail turn assist though is kind of loud and always sounds like something is about to break! lol

Same except I had a 18 and a 19 and I do off-road frequently. Need to wait until it snows to really know but I think the 23 is far better off-road than the Gen2's I've had.
