Clearly they are close competitors as there are many postings of both winning races. There is clearly margin of error in the drivers and configurations of the trucks and so on. What you can definitely say is the trucks are both very close to each other in most aspects and a lot comes to personal choice. The bigger differences today aren’t the performances on a street test, but just seems to be the TRX is way way way cheaper and is easy to get. The R will no doubt perform better offroad and has a way better suspension. Pick your poison.
