How long until dealer order did y’all receive a vin? Or has anyone received a vin yet?

I heard that you don't receive a vin until it is scheduled

scheduling for 2022 F150 at Dearborn is supposed to start 10/15 I think but who knows given the delays

You won’t get a vin or scheduled until middle or end of this month. I think scheduling for 2022 doesn’t start until next week 10/14. Subject to change but dont be suprised if no raptor orders get scheduled the first week.

LOL yea here we are. Maybe our orders will get picked up first round. I am looking to retire from this squad.

That would be great... to receive a '22 truck while still in calendar year 2021 (or even early '22). Apparently Ford starts building '22's in Nov. At this point, that sounds better than getting a '21 truck in '22. So there's that silver lining!

I placed my order day 1, but I'm fully expecting not to get my 22 until March/April.

Not sure even early 22 is feasible.. two major holidays coming up, plus they still need to finish 2021 production. AND there are still commodity shortages, which will impact the 22 models the same as 21's. **** show at best.... will see.....

I'm also now apart of this club, order placed on Oct. 4th and Unscheduled Clean with a priority code of 10. Dealer says no issues with allocations for 22's, but we all know how that goes.

Do they deicide if it’s a priority code 10 or 19 themselves or does FP decide that?

For those who ordered a ‘21, what was a reasonable or average amount of time to sit in unscheduled clean before getting a date? Trying to figure out on the ‘22s if there is a way to predict whether the order was placed with or without an allocation. In other words, how long should I wait in unscheduled before I place another order somewhere else?

The wrench in all this for 22 is the fact that they are still finishing up some 21s. So nobody knows. I finally got a 22 ordered today and I’m anticipating 4-6 months+

The dealer does. It only applies the priority of your order to their other orders; it's not a competition vs other dealers.
