A STOCK gen2 Raptor is already faster offroad than a TRX

on the street, weighing 1200+ lbs more, a TRX barely walks a tuned gen2

therefore a base gen3 will be very close to a stock TRX on the street, & whoop its ass offroad

which would then mean a tuned gen3 will come close to matching or creep past a TRX on the street

and a stock Raptor R will **** it in all measures along w/ anything else that calls itself a stock offroad truck or SUV

The Raptor R will be for the ppl who don’t give two ***** about off road and only care about bragging rights to HP and 0-60 times. The R should stand for Road as I am sure it will be more suited for the pavement princess crowd.


The TRX is a glorified pavement princess and ppl are wanting the Raptor to be the same all so the Raptor can beat the TRX at something it was never meant to be but because it has a V8 now it’s the new king lol...... it’s funny how naive most buyers of this segment are.

TFL said the TRX dethroned the Raptor so it has to be true. Dethroned it 0-60 or at Baja? Oh the TRX hasn’t been out there yet oops. And I don’t think Ford is going to add “Launch Control” in the R.

Wait a couple of years and Ford will reintroduce the electric “Lightning” truck. And this may have launch control. The Lightning name will surely be big again.

Good summary. The average person has no clue about how their money is stolen every single month, used for some of the dumbest and inefficient things known to man, then sold the 'you get everything free BS'. I don't mind that there is a safety net for the most disadvantaged in society, but it should never be an incentive to not work or contribute what you are able. And the government never does anything well, or better than the private sector, so should be the smallest it can be to do the basics, no more.
