2022 Body Panel Defect

The issue is that I never saw it at delivery.

It’s not a dent it’s a slightly raised line that’s only obvious in the sun and at certain angles. PDR could fix that?

I had a similar issue with mine on my hood towards the window… stinks they come from the factory with all these defects. The pain of repainting and it not matching or anything like that might not be worth it I was thinking…

Really amazed that made it out of the plant. Watching Ford build videos and the number of hands on walk around inspections they do, very surprising but no worries, you have a free fix coming.

I have a similar issue on my drivers door body panel. It's like a pinch out, almost a small ridge, about the width of a nickel. Didnt notice it until after I got home, bought it 200 mi away. Can only see in certain light and really if looking for it. The guy who put the ceramic coat thinks mine might have been ridged/dented from the inside of the panel at some point since paint is perfect. Sorry to hear another person has worse issue...

I don’t know if it’s going to be fixed yet. I have an appt tomorrow for a specialist to look at it. I’m pissed because I couldn’t see it when it was in the showroom. You are right it almost feels like it was dented from the inside out. The paint is perfect.

Quick update. Ford approved the warranty repair. The dealership is also going to give me 100k Ford Pass points. Not a horrible outcome.
