All I’m hearing is a bunch of peasant gen2 owners making excuses for not buying a truck they can’t even afford.......

Can’t afford or not even available to buy yet? The Gen 3 is better hands down and maybe looks wise it’ll grow more on me and others, but right now the exterior of the Gen 2 looks better/meaner to me. F83E38CC-3353-4B21-87B2-49510C95EA8C.jpeg

I'm disappointed but they're doing what manufacturers do. First year people will buy because it's the new style. Second year add additional interest by introducing something new, like a V8. Third year they'll do updates again to try and keep interest, like an interior.

That didn’t happen in the gen 2

Have to agree. I like the new grille - favorite of the three, actually - but the rear can't hold a candle to the Gen 2 IMO. Don't love the G3 bumper and definitely not the rigid lights. The heat extractors on the hood and fenders aren't nearly as nice looking, but I'll admit that hood scoop would be a lot easier to clean/keep clean.

Updated interior including recaros and live shocks in the 3rd year of production (2019). Doesn't always happen every model year but definitely not abnormal to try to make updates to keep people interested. In 2013 they updated the interior too.

More like a Gen-2.5. Not a fan of the new frontend look. I do like the 37's and new rear suspension. 15" rear travel is nice. Should be much easier for the aftermarket to upgrade. New tuning on the V6 sounds interesting. Betting there is a decent bump in power.

Ford is getting slaughtered. Some guy said that all the only thing Ford made bigger were the marker lights and that Ford wasted money on an exhaust enhancing switch that's freakin' pointless :lol2:

I like the new gen 3. Just for the fact there will be a 37" tire option alone. But I don't feel compelled to rush out and upgrade from my 2019 gen2. gen 3 will be my next truck for sure.
