EricM is a *******. Best to ignore him like RapTerrd.

I'm tempted to make a calendar reminder in a few years for us all to come back and make fun of this particular claim, but honestly he's not worth our time. But then again I do love winning arguments, especially easy ones.

It was a decent attempt at logic, and does make sense, if you ignore a bunch of other details. If the Raptor R is only slightly worse price as Raptor, with only slightly worse MPG, and dealers can get them as easy as Raptors....then yes, the V6 is done. But none of that is true.

Because they severely beat the 2021 F150 with an ugly stick, then made a Raptor out of it.

It may be technically good and mechanically competent, but now you gotta put a bag over her head and ignore her constant farting noises.

i'm loving the new 21 f150. they've been selling like hotcakes at my dealership. my first 2 that i sold, the guys came in for lariats and left with xlt, because they were so impressed with how well loaded even the xlt's came.

Well, if you make stupid assumptions, all the logic in the world isn't going to help. Garbage in, garbage out.

All you guy saying bust or not worth it, I can assume you are current Gen owners. That being said, the GEN 3 is prefect for me, who has never had one!!
Gen2 owner here. Don't listen to the grumpy pants crowd. The Gen3 looks awesome. I'm hanging on to my Gen2 because I really like the SCAB but I'd buy a Gen3 and probably will one day. I'm jealous that you'll get to attend the Raptor Assult School (don't forget to register quickly).

Agreed, squandered opportunity. However, Ford may see a shift in near future gas prices going up with the new administration. Performance models of any kind very well could have a bleak future.
I agree with this! A big fire breathing V8 won’t be as attractive if and when we see $5.00 per-gallon gasoline.

That's good to hear. At some point, bells and whistles seem like they're added because they can be and not because they're useful. 802a gen2 is a good example. I looked at that and the only thing I wanted was the Torsen. I'm glad it was available as a standalone. I hope the 37s become a standalone, too.

Already looked into. You have to have a VIN# to register. My son and I will go next year. But yes, already on it. :banana-mario:
