I forgot to change that when i first bought the truck. Was wondering why my scheduled starts were a hour off LOL

I didn’t see any change that implements an automatic DST change. The format smokes everything - your home location, favorites in nav, previous destinations, previous settings, paired bluetooth - all of it. I had to go back through all the screens to update and there’s the usual sync to gps time and 12/24. nothing to auto update on DST

I think you need to contact Ford to correct them on Daylight Saving(s) Time :p

I can’t go check now, Lucille’s off for more and the same moonroof repairs. Will check this when I get back but I thought I remembered checking this post upgrade - I had to change from 12h back to 24h on the clock. I’ll look again.

Haven't tried Forscan yet (Forscan-rated USB-OBD2 cable sitting on desk though). Is it possible to have a different splash screen (i.e. stock Raptor/Ford Performance) with Lincoln theme without it saying "Lincoln" all over the place?

Yes you can use the Raptor or whatever splash screen you prefer, but use the lincoln theme, that's how mine is currently set

The only thing that says Lincoln is in the settings screen instead of the FordPass Connect icon it's Lincoln Connect or something like that

Thanks for your reply
So you think I can just go out and stick in my USB stick with the 3.3 upgrade files on it and it will work out? Even though Ive already done the 3.4 hack?
I want to do this but would be much much more comfortable knowing someone else has done this already.

That Lincoln Theme is what I like. That looks good.
Wonder where you get the 3.4 version download for that? I do like those colors instead of blue for the Raptor.

Thanks

Yes, my understanding is you can downgrade to 3.3 without issue. You're the first I've read that wants to downgrade that I've read so I don't know if you will find anyone on here that has done it. You can check the F150forum and see if anybody there has.

The Lincoln theme is just a setting you change with Forscan. You can go into test mode and see what it looks like, but I think that gets reset at shutdown, so you have to use Forscan to set it permanently.

Test mode is the accessed by holding the eject button and the right seek steering wheel button if you have a cd player. If you have a 19+ without the cd player you will hold right seek and the right seek steering wheel button.

Its strange I know. But the only reason I was considering downgrading back to 3.3 was to get rid of the bright blue colors. At least I’d be downgrading to the latest 3.3 build available from Ford Site.
However, I may just leave it alone as Im getting used to the look of 3.4 and some enhancements I’ve noticed.
Happy Hollidays to you!

I have an 18 Raptor I’m assuming that when I bring my truck to the dealer for an oil change I can ask the dealer to upgrade my sync 3 ?
