i wouldnt go trying to get a mortgage based on that rare and valuable. You might get enough to buy a good dinner over what a standard colour brings.

True, but I just hired these Gals to protect my Rare and Valuable Lead Foot. I think there is room for them, if not they can use the Dance Pole in the back.

Pulled the trigger and ordered a Leadfoot 2018 today. Decided that changing the shocks is a lot easier than paint. Super pumped!!!

could always wrap the truck in whatever color you'd like for around 5k. then you have the oem paint underneath.

Still curious how much it would cost to retrofit the live fox shocks if you have to run wiring from the ecu to each shock and do some reprogramming?

Yup this is mountain bike technology. Initially came from the rally racing world. Lots of bicycle r&d then back to 4 wheeled r&d. Now to production vehicles.

I remember the early curnut stable platform stuff!

Why? By your own admission, not a whole lot has changed so why would you buy the one with old shocks if you have the option to buy the one with new shocks?

Edited

Like I said!

I'm just saying New Shocks are really a stupid reason to buy one over the other.

Damn it!!!

If I had known that mountain bike tech was coming to the Raptor, I would have definitely waited for the 2019's.

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or not, but you really should read the article, then imagine it scaled up in our trucks. Or check out the Polaris RZR Dynamix, and see the raving reviews it is getting, since it is also using Fox Live shocks.

Literally all the fox live valve is doing is replacing the manual adjustment knob on, say, the Fox Factory series. Instead of you choosing a setting for your environment and leaving it there (for better or worse), it reads accelerometers and other input to make adjustments 200x a second so that you don't have to. This means you always have the best set up, even if you're terrain is changing multiple times per second (good luck with that).
