Still irrelevant to the thread topic.

Weird, I thought people were talking about ride comfort on city streets and how it might differ with the 2019 suspension and whether it'd be worth upgrading or not.

It's almost like responding to his post (twice in this thread) to point that out is less relevant than his actual post. What do your responses have to do with this thread topic?

Or my response even.............. :893karatesmiley-thu

Why would u get Dated car with dumb shocks. I really liked the foot gray too but I’m just gona go with oxford white and get 2019. The new suspension it’s a deal breaker

Is Ford changing up the ‘19 that much that you would call a ‘18 dated?
No body panels changed!
Upolstery changes that look like crap!
A new handling mode!
New shock!

Oh My God! Looks like a whole new truck.

I guess you change autos everytime new shocks come out?
I bet we read in a few months, by Sept-Oct, of people stil upgrading these new shocks and adding Deavers. Buy their cast offs.

That’s a new one on me. My wife has been known to accuse me of buying a new car instead of getting an oil change.

I’m just saying New Shocks are really a stupid reason to buy one over the other.

Why? By your own admission, not a whole lot has changed so why would you buy the one with old shocks if you have the option to buy the one with new shocks?

I can mostly agree with that.

The interior changes are meh to me.

Shocks are cool if you do alot of street driving or tow. The stock 17-18 raptors are about as soft as any sane engineer would allow before releasing a truck to the public.

Pulled the trigger and ordered a Leadfoot 2018 today. Decided that changing the shocks is a lot easier than paint. Super pumped!!!

Awesome! You will love the truck and you got the color you wanted.

Value is in the eye of the used-truck-buyer. If he cannot get anyone to buy it 3-5 years down the road, then the value was only in his mind's eye. It is almost the same as buying one with orange seats. If you like, I say go for it! However, it may be harder to sell when the time comes.

The dealer where I bought mine had two that were almost identical, except one was LF and the other was Magnetic. When I saw them in person side-by-side, there was no comparison. As others have said, the LF looked like it was missing a paint job and the Magnetic looked excellent from every angle. The trim pieces blend in perfectly and nothing looks odd about the metallic color.

I checked back later in the week and he had sold the LF Raptor, but the buyer really wanted my Magnetic. It was lucky for me and the dealer, because I would have continued to search if the LF was the only one he had left on his lot...
