2019 Upgrades - Worth It or Not...

Same here, the live valve seems too good to pass up on. It’s unfortunate I miss out on a summer of fun with an 18, and a less expensive seat option variant (was really hoping to get orange in a 19). We will see how the prices of the new seats effects things overall. If it’s not too much I will probably end up pulling the trigger. I’ve kind of budgeted the truck to be about 69-70 with the options I want. So we will see what the upgraded interior does to that possibility

HA…I actually held off on ordering a 2017 because the rumor was the 2018 would have complete stop and go cruise control and pedestrian warning. Looking back at it now, I now laugh about it since it cost me six months of rolling around in this great truck.

The 2019 adjustable shocks do appeal to me as well as the new wheel option though. I’m patient, so I would probably wait another six month for those upgrades if I was in the market for a new truck right now.

my local dealer called me to check out the 3 they just received, white, magnetic and leadfoot which happen to be my 3 top color choices. Really like the leadfoot and the more i contemplated the more I wanted to pick one up since they're getting of rid of the color next year. I've had it for a week now and glad I didn't wait to order a 2019. I'm loving every minute of it.

Is Ford changing up the ‘19 that much that you would call a ‘18 dated?
No body panels changed!
Upolstery changes that look like crap!
A new handling mode!
New shock!

Oh My God! Looks like a whole new truck.

I guess you change autos everytime new shocks come out?
I bet we read in a few months, by Sept-Oct, of people stil upgrading these new shocks and adding Deavers. Buy their cast offs.

That’s a new one on me. My wife has been known to accuse me of buying a new car instead of getting an oil change.


I’m just saying New Shocks are really a stupid reason to buy one over the other.

I call foul! Yes new shock is a good reason to get the 19 over 18, unless u already. Bought 18. Seems like u bought 18 else even common sense will make you get the newer one just for more value when u trade or sell

Tail gate applique is also different and it most likely has Ford's new 360 safety system.
