2019 Rear View Mirror compared to 2018 with Tec Package

Ok I had a 2018 and traded for 2019 noticed the rear view mirror is different. Is this correct because I thought the rear view mirror had the camera for collision alert. Below is pic of 2018 but my 2019 looks nothing like it. (The 2019 does not have the plastic piece against windshield)

My 2019 doesn't have that plastic piece either. Behind my rvm I have ezpass transponder and dash cam. Oh, and I have 802A with tech package.

That's correct for the '19s. Makes it much easier to mount and power a radar detector as well.

Do you have Lane Keeping system on your 2019s? The plastic piece behind RVM houses the camera for that feature.

Yes have lane keeping on the 2019 and no plastic piece

I guess they changed the mirror Oh well just noticed it was different.

These are just a couple pics from ebay for a 2019 with tech package. Looks like the mirror moved down slightly and the camera is now above the rearview mirror instead of in front of it like on the 2017/2018's. You can see the clear triangle area above the mirror on the windshield in the blacked out strip for the camera.

There's a 2019 on eBay already? I assume for over MSRP.

I like the look of the 2019 rear view better too... Seems less obstructive.
