Any engine- as designed will produce X amount of power over its life time- If you run a motor hard- it life hours run will be shorter because you pulled more power out of it faster, period. That is why a race motor may be torn down after every race.( lots of power out in a short time) So imo any tune that is adding 75-100 hp is going to shorted life. It has to- all engines only have so much life. Now are you ever going to notice it? as a daily driver most likely not. If the engine fails at 200k rather that 225k who would know.
