2019 Raptor Seats

I’m puzzled I weigh 140 pounds and 5 feet 8 inches tall. I have owned 3 Porsches (2 turbos) with no problem. But can’t seem to get comfortable in the Raptor seats. I know that this seems silly but any thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

What I am supposed to say. I have had Recaro’s and they never hurt my back. These hurt my back and I have tried many different adjustments,to no avail. Just wondered if it could me or other people were feeling that the 19’s weren’t as comfortable as the 18’s. Is this better or am I still clueless.

I agree that the drivers seat is extremely uncomfortable. The first week i had the truck i would constantly adjust the seat trying get comfortable but it felt like the lumbar was pushing into my lower back causing me lower back pain. I did some research and i found that this is a common complaint on the 2015 and up f150s, mostly the lower trim xlt cloth seats but also other trim levels as well. One of the suggestions was to disconnect the cable from the lumbar motor to allow the lower back of the seat to relax more, i did this and it makes a huge difference, much more comfortable. My passenger seat feels fine, its just the drivers seat, so i think something was assembled incorrectly. Everyone keeps saying how the raptor seats are so comfortable, I thought i was the only one that found them uncomfortable.

Just out of curiosity, what was your build date? Mine was 1/30/2019.

When i bring it in for the first oil change im going to sit a few other 2019s on the lot and see if they feel more comfortable, if they do im going to bring it up to the service department and have them check it out.

My build is small and thin also and I always have problems with seats. My 18 has the best seats for my body size, I wonder if the Recaros are designed for larger fit?

I do not have the recaro seats, i have the 802a seats. I just find it strange that my passenger seat feels fine, its just the drivers seat that is uncomfortable.
