Got some fake news from a dealer saying that the order banks are opening up in september. Never got a response back after i sent her the bbl fleet link lol. Looking for a back up dealer in the NYC area to order from if anyone has a suggestion.

I have a ‘17 802A package.
Mine did apply brakes once when my heads up emergency alert system flashed. It took me a bit to figure out what happened.

What actually happened is my adaptive cruise was engaged as I was passing on a double lane......and the cruise system, which will apply brakes to only slow, not stop the vehicle, acted at the same time as heads up alert. (I was passing a wide load transport truck on a divided highway which triggered both systems)

So... it can appear that the heads up alert will stop the vehicle but I believe it won’t apply the brakes unless the cruise is on, and didn’t apply them to an emergency degree of application one would expect with a truly active system.
