The last 2018 Raptor sticker I saw showed built with all materials from US and assembled in US but engine was from Mexico.

I am telling you this thing 2018 Raptor applied the brakes right before I almost smashed into another car. Of corse admitted doing something was not supposed to be doing . So yes it applyed the brakes for me.

But wouldn't the Trump tariffs also effect all newly built 2018's and that hasn't been the case? I read somewhere that all the steel used to create domestic trucks was obtained within the U.S.

I hope the 2019's price stays the same but I would be ok with a 1K to 2K increase. Not that what I want matters.

Is it normal for order banks to open on a weekend?

Steel and aluminum sourced for 18s was likely in 2017. Even if sourced in US for 2019+, all do?estic steel and aluminum has increased to account for demand and increased foreign sourced costs.

So this may have already been mentioned but I placed an order for a 2018 SCAB on Saturday. The dealer told me the last 18 Raptor run will be in October. After that the line would shut down for a short time to prepare for a limited run of 2019's to release by the end of the year. They expect a 2-3 month gap from the limited run to full blow production. This could be to allow time for the supply chain to catch up. Full production units would hit around Feb-Apr timeframe.

Its a pretty big dealer in my local area stating the information came from a Ford briefing on Thursday of last week. However, they could just be spewing hearsay. I had already placed my deposit so I dont think it was a sales tactic.

SoCal dealership tells me due to the fire some months ago with one of Ford's suppliers, this has delayed the 2019 models. Who knows if this is true or not.
